This workshop is a 1 day crash course introduction to the process of lithography. In this workshop you'll draw, etch and print in the same day using aluminum ball grained lithography plates. Much less intimidating than stone lithography, ball grained plates don't require heavy lifting or hours of preparation but still offer a rich and wide tonal range for drawing. Students should have general printmaking experience, but lithography experience is not required. You'll leave the class with a general knowledge of how lithography works, a small edition of prints and the plate you draw will be yours to keep!
