Monotypes are one-of-a-kind prints created by a painterly method originally developed by the Impressionists. In this class students learn several techniques including subtractive, additive, color blending, texture transfer, and other painterly methods. Monotypes can be abstract or realistic, and students are encouraged to work at their own pace to experiment using what they learn.
