Unmounted linoleum is a versatile relief printing medium that is easily printed on multiple surfaces such as paper, wood, plastic, and fabric. Speedball Relief Block Printing inks are lightfast, dry quickly, transfer to the block beautifully, and clean up easily with soap and water. In this workshop, students will get a short refresher on linocut printmaking techniques using unmounted linoleum and several mark making tools such as lino cutters, Dremel, zip tools, and others.

Students will then carve a 4” square piece of linoleum and print their unmounted linoleum blocks on 10 round blank coasters on the DGA etching presses. 

One linoleum block, 10 blank coasters, and black ink are included.
